Primary school reading help

Organisation: Southwark Education Business Alliance
Date: 1 November 2010

Activity:
Supporting year 4 students with their reading in a local primary school.
Comments:
I'm really enjoying this volunteering role - it's only half an hour reading each time so it's not too time consuming, but seeing the smiles on the children's faces is worth it every time!

Comments:
Definitely one of the best volunteering experiences I've ever been a part of. Although you may feel shattered by the end of the week, it is completely worth it especially when you see just how much the kids develop and get out of their week away.

The facilities available are fantastic and the staff are brilliant.

I thoroughly recommend this to anyone and everyone.
